I hope you all had good start into the new year

and i wanna wish all the best for the upcoming one :-)

Coming to good intentions for the new year, my ones are fast to mention:

keeping the musicthing straight and having a good & healthy time at all!

So enough of that, here a two remixes i started my musical year with.

The first one is a remix for Peter (aka Basicnoise) of his track Agravic Part I which will be released as part of a Basicnoise Remix EP on Schall-Netlabel soon !

The second one is a a remix i made for Alex Ketzer from the cologne based NOORDEN label which will be released in a few weeks as well :-)

As i was on holidays the last week i missed the official release date of the new UNOIKI compilation : REDEFINITION#2 EVALUATED a bit :-)

Good morning folks !

Today Gosh (aka Dj Snobo) released his track Just Kitten on the San Francisco based De'fchild Productions Label!
Including that EP there are eight broadband remixes from the desks of Havantepe, Selffish, Triton, Suspect, Ruoho Ruotsi, Martinez Gonzalez, Celice Monnette & Enrique Gongora and me :-)

Due to some mastering issues (the file which is uploaded on Soundcloud and Bandcamp is already corrected) my track is for free download.

It's a bit different from my other recordings because the Adherence hosts record all their acts with a small microphone recorder directly from a top speaker.

I'm glad to announce that i'll play ~~an early morning liveset (from 10-11 am)~~ an early afternoon liveset (from 1-2 pm :-) at the Berlin based Sisyphos location on upcoming saturday.
The party will start already on friday evening and will take until monday morning with artists like: Dole & Kom, CanDjane, Jan Mir, Anais,Marcel Cluso, Por.no and lots of others :-)

I just got my recording from the liveact i played five weeks ago at the weekly Dienstagswelt party.
As my own recorder killed my private recording i was really happy to receive that one now from the DW-crew :-)

Following my first (after-break) liveact in the SO 36 about six weeks ago
this one here is the second one and i'm quite proud to present it,
as there are some of the high energetic moments inside
that are the main reason for me to play the livething again and again :-)

Yesterday my former label The Studio Stereo released a new compilation called Ambientistik !
It features a very wide range of gloomy ambient and twisted downbeat tracks including my The Italian Verb (which i'm very happy of to be released there and now :-)!

Lo - Soft Exposure (The Remixes)

Somehow blogspot deleted my last entry about Lo's album (it was already fooling around the last days anyway).
But ok,so i do it again :)

Good old netaudio buddy Lo (Lo on facebook) just released his first full length cd album on Entropy Records (get it here: click).
Compiling this album Entropy Records also released a digital remix EP featuring mixes from Zzzzra,Quantec,Axs,Masterkush and me :-)

You get it for free when buying the album (but hurry up,there are only 100 copies left :-) or you can buy it separately on the Entropy Records website (3,99 euro for 6 files is quite cheap anyway,isn't it?).

Hello out there!

Tuesday night (10-05-2011) i'll play a liveact at the Dienstagswelt at the mikz club in Friedrichshain.
My technical concept for tomorrow is similar to the one of last monday:
a sampler,a drummachine,two synths,a mic and fx.

The musical concept will be completely different again as i programmed a bunch of new patterns last week.

So that's it for the moment, i hope to see you there and to have a good time anyway :)

Ahoy folks!

I just came back from the SO36 venue where i played my first real liveact after a long long time and as i was able to record this one and as it felt quite good,i decided to directly upload it and share it with you :-)

The structure of it is a litte simpler than in my earlier liveacts as i reduced my setup (down to 1 Drummachine,1 Sampler and 2 Synthesizers) to have a better overview and to be able to focus even more on single figures and work them out properly.
But i don't want to make too much words right now, here is the recording:

Hey there!

Here is a small selection of my latest music these days.

This one is some kind of a drumming synthesizer experiment i did on a lazy sunday afternoon a few weeks ago.
It fits well to different moods i think, slower or faster, that's what you have to find out :-)

Vermona Retroverb Lancet is coming!

Hey there!

Today just an information for the tech-nerds around :-)

My beloved Vermona announced a new version of my alltime favourite reverb effect - the Retroverb !

It now comes in the new format of the Lancet-Box which was introduced last year with the MonoLancet (a classic mono-synth) and the KickLancet (a kickdrum module similar to the Jomox MBase but with a more hands on style because of eleven big knobs - the sound is related to the DRM 1 MK 3)

So the Retroverb Lancet features a pre/post usable spring tank (of course :-) ,a multimode filter with three types (highpass/lowpass/bandpass), an LFO in 3 ranges with 5 (!!!) waveform types plus the possiblity to use the internal envelope for even that, the A(ttack)R(release) envelope follower and an input-section with overdrive (yeah :-)

Have a look at it:

there are lots of possibilites to route the envelope and LFO to the VCA and VCF section and a lot of capabilities how the machine is going to be trigged and so on.

I already loved the old Retroverb but i think this one will even kick it to the max !

Price will be very near to the old one (as i heard :-) and releasedate is around summer (june 2011) !

So let's look forward to that - Vermona will present also the Perfourmer 2 and lots of other stuff at the Musikmesse next week !

Back To Live ! 25-03-2011 Theaterkapelle Friedrichshain !

Hey there!

After a lot of back and forth, i can now finally announce my first Liveact since seven months.
Thanks the Circus Feature Team, which invited me to take part in their residency at the Theaterkapelle Friedrichshain, i'll be able to present what i've done in the last months :-)
Next to me there will play three other liveacts and four djs covering the whole range of bassmusic from dubstep to dub - from techno to dubtechno.

And as i got some kind of back to my roots in the last months i'll present a quite rough and down to the ground hardware only liveact. So what else can i say?
I am excited to do it again :-)

That Weather Daily Waveform Cycle

To be honest,after i did this tracks in the last autumn i wasn't really too sure what to do with them finally. I thought (and still think :) that editing them more and more would have taken the pure peace they own and that is what i 100%ly wanted to keep,so what to do?

I waited some months and listened to them again and again after a while. And as i don't really like things to lie around too long i decided to release it under a new kind of a netlabel idea i had recently.

The ThreeE was thought as a soundcloud group (which will go on of course) and will now also be like a friend to give some special music to from time to time. At the moment only for my own stuff,maybe later for others too.

Bekeschus vs. The Marx Trukker - The Nevercity Memories

Hey there!
So finally a new blog post and also one with a really happy reason :)

I wanna announce the upcoming split EP of the Bekeschus brothers and me which will be released in a few days on dreiton.net !
As you can guess the title will be The Nevercity Memories :-) featuring five of our tracks with a more dubby mood in it !
My contribution consists of another version of my last years Erfurt (in a special Latenight Version some of you might already listened to in a pre-version last year on Soundcloud) and A No Mans Life - both with a really nice mastering of Bert Olke from GL-Audio !

So after all,i'm really glad that the Bekeschus brothers and me finally managed to do a release together as we are friends for so long years already and what could be a better statement of our friendship then combining some of our tracks and sharing them with the musiclovers around the world :) ?

Live @ Sonnenseiten Festival Zossen

Hey peeps!

Here is my recording from the debut of the Sonnenseiten Festival in Zossen last weekend.
It was a great pity as the party wasn't visited too good at all, but i had fun while playing although the monitoring also wasn't the best at all,but ok,it worked ;-)

The recording is like one hour of pretty straight and energetic techno what i didn't expect before - it seemed the machines took over control again :D
By the way, it was the last recording with the old setup,i'm just changing it, to make sound even more expressive - i hope that works,so let's have a look when bookings start again :)

Hello out there!

I finally moved to my new flat and after a lot of chaos in the last weeks (no internet,lots of full and empty boxes and stress,just pure stress :-) i'm now finally back at the computer and ready to work at some stuff again!

On upcoming saturday i will play a liveset on a little festival (called Sonnenseiten-Festival) in Zossen near Berlin.
Confirmed artists are for example Jake the Rapper,Agaric, Aka Aka,Mary Jane and so on.
My playtime will be from 7 - 8 p.m. on saturday evening.

Also there is a new release upcoming on Entropy Records featuring one of my more dubtechnolike tracks.
The release is called Wired Thoughts and will be published as a 3 CD Box in two editions and also as digital release and features some of my favourite dubtechno-producers these days as there are Zzzzra // Atheus // Dubatech // Sublime Porte // Djorvin Clain // G.R.I.T. // Basicnoise // Martin Schulte and many more.

A Night in the Liquid Garden

After dealing with an oral exam in university tomorrow, i will keep on concentrating on my new liveact which will be performed on Saturday 31-07-2010 at the about:blank club near Ostkreuz - this event is the official release-party for the Liquid Garden Compilation which was published on Eintakt recently !
Maybe one half of the Bekeschus brothers will join this session with one of his synthesizers for maximum soundperformance - let's have a look ;-)

The complete line-up combines Eintakt-artists Bekeschus,Einklang Freier Frequenzen, Reynold and Klartraum's Nadja Lind who will host the clubfloor with several artists from Klangwirkstoff-Crew (e.g.Motobash,Olga Akbal & Akasha Project, Hugo Duran and last but not least another Eintakt-artist: Gunnar Hemmerling) which will entertain the pretty nice about:blank garden floor !

Entry will be 8 Euro !

Christoph Schindling - Life

So here is a little recommendation for you.

Yesterday Christoph Schindling released his third album in three months (which alone is already simply stunning to be honest :)
But it's not only a few tracks compiled and released as an album - Christoph developed a very special and unique sound between very grounded sounding drums (which were triggered like only a genial maniac could do :-) and combined with his typical spacey atmospheres and melodies you could already be impressed by all the net,digital and physical releases he did in the last years !
My personal favourite is track number 7 (Heart) !

Live @ Hedonismus Hacienda

Hey there!

So here is the recording from my little trip to Graz / Austria last weekend.
I was invited by the Hedonismus Hacienda, who hosted their first party in the Forum Stadtpark (check here for the next events).

The Liveset is a mixture between some oldschool-influenced-jack-house-tracks,some driving detroit/dubtechno-chords and a lot of jamming at the machines and headbanging at all.
For sure it's not the best soundquality,there is some distortion and overdrive inside and the mixing could be better though,but anyways,it's my vision of Techno and it's live and not a backup,so i think some mistakes are ok :)

Unfortunately i only made two tracks in may,but therefor they both are very expressive :-D !

The Citrus Blossom Dandy was made last friday making use of the Dave Smith Instruments Desktop Evolver.
One line was recorded while modulating at the machine and then cut up,pitched,filtered and added to the original.
Hall and Delay FX are made with the standard Ableton plug ins.Here it is:

The Unhasty Shift bases on a Doepfer Dark Energy Synthline which was heavily tweaked live and then recorded and added to a field recording i took on the same sunday afternoon.
